Does anyone feel the Trackpoint feels a little heavy on the X200(s) or any of the newest ThinkPad models? I have an X200s, sensitivity set to lightest, mouse speed set to fastest with precision checked. The trackpoint on my X60s and X300 feel much lighter nd easier to move. Perhaps it's just the extremely high display DPI on the X200s? TIA, Kris.

Have you tried to turn off 'precision'?
In mine (Vista 32 equipped) it makes a cursor a little more agile...

    kdog209,

You do know that you need to max out the sensitivity at two different places, if you want the trackpoint to have maximum sensitivity? You need do it both in the Windows Mouse Options as well as in the Thinkpad trackpoint settings.

jketzetera, yes I have maxed out both Windows & Trackpoint settings, thanks for the reply.

menos, Thank you! it worked. I turned off 'enhance pointer precision' and now the pointer feels lighter and quicker like my previous ThinkPads.

Funny I never had to turn that off on the older models. Thanks again guys!
