    Hi all,

I notice that the X201t and x220t do not have the very useful up-down-left-right button (perhaps there is a better name?) that the X61t did.

Does anyone have any insight into why this was removed?

    Just curious...

The arrow keys...? They still have them. I'm staring at them right now.

I think they refer to the four way navigation pad, which was dropped after the X61t. Your guess is as good as mine as to the why.

Correct, that's what I meant and the phrase I needed. Thanks for the vocabulary lesson. :)

"Four-way navigation pad" on the lower bezel of the screen, and therefore accessible while in tablet configuration. It was great for flipping through pages of a pdf, etc.

Sorry it's gone & I hope it comes back. Unfortunately, comparing the X220 to the X201, it looks like Lenovo is continuing to remove buttons from the bezel - a move in the wrong direction IMHO.

For the record, it seems that the official name is "NavDial."
