Is it just me or does the X200 have a better quality screen than X201??? I understand the X200 screen is AFFS but not sure what X201 screen is?

it's possible that your X200 display is CCFL and X201 display is LED.   the technology changed mid-cycle during the X200's production.   if this is the difference between your particular systems then perhaps you prefer CCFL over LED.

the X200/X201 notebook display is not AFFS—only the tablet models.   some X200/X201 notebooks have been modded to accept AFFS tablet panels but this was never a standard offering from the factory.   if you have an AFFS panel in your X200 then this would also explain a difference.
