    Hi everyone,

I found that when I play any games, the computer will randomly become very very slow (usually 5-10 minutes within I start the game), and it basically becomes unplayable, and everything slows down (even when I alt tab). It's definitely an issue with the onboard video card because when I finally exit the game, the computer gradually speeds up again.

Does any one have any idea what is causing it?

    Thanks

What game are you trying to play on the X201?

Nothing intense, just the original Splinter cell and Heroes of Newerth. They both run fine at the start, and I turn it to the lowest settings. I get like 60 fps until it slows down.

Run HWiNFO32 and enable Sensors. The graphic on the main page will show the CPU speed and whether it is throttling while the Sensors page will show the temperatures.
