Hey, I have a really old Thinkpad T21 w/an Ultrabay 2000 DVD drive--are these compatible with the x200/x201 ultrabase?

btw, I ordered a X201 (i5 540m, 4gb, 320gb 7200rpm, 9cell) March 4th, and it has already been shipped--even though the "estimated shipping date" was the 18th! whoo! So... does UPS ship on Saturdays?

One last thing--does anybody have the dimensions of the x201 w/the 9 cell? I'm considering buying a Pelican 1080 case to protect the thing, and it's 9.3" wide--pretty close to the published dimension of 9.2" here: http://www.lenovo.com/shop/americas...ThinkPad/X-Series/X201 ThinkPad datasheet.pdf Maybe I should just hope that Lenovo/Pelican's really accurate with their measurements?

    Thanks!

No, the ultrabase will not be compatible.

UPS does not deliver on saturday unless you opted for saturday service.

I would check the tabook for specific measurements.

11.6x9.2x.8-1.4 with a 9 cell. Sounds like it'll be snug.
