I was originally running 32bit 7 and had no issues withe the touchpad.

Ever since I upgraded to 64bit 8.1 I've had issues where the touchpad becomes not responsive for a second, highly annoying. I started out with whatever drivers 8 provided and then upgraded to the latest that was on Lenovo's website. I think the latest drivers helped but I still get hanging every once in a while.

    Any suggestions or tweaks?

    If I can't get it resolved I might just try 32bit 8.1.

P.S. I do not care for or use 2 finger scrolling as I use and prefer the circular scrolling.

I think I need to give it some more time to feel out how it is doing. Seems to be working well the past 30 minutes...especially after disabling edge swipe which annoyingly brought up the charms.

Interestingly installing the touchpad drivers on my T60 with windows 8, it doesn't have the ability to disable edge swipe.
