I was at Star Plaza in Hong-Kong yesterday and they had the new X201 out on display with the I520 processor in it. I tried out the speaker and only one worked while the other. Salesman said they received them about a week ago and had no knowledge about the speaker problem.

Screen on the X201 was pretty shabby compared to all the other screens that were sitting out on display. The new Sony Z had the best display out of all that were sitting there for a 13" laptop. The X201 came with the EE sticker on it (had a 7200 RPM HDD in it) and seemed pretty fast for bootup and shut down speeds. Depending on configuration it was being sold for 10200-12288 HKD.
