Their is an option for adding 30 dollars to get the WWAN antenna for the screen, however nothing for actually adding the Module itself. Anyone knows what to do if one were to decide soon on getting a X201 online because of a coupon. Or is this not an option available in Canada for just the X201?

Availability of components depends on the location. In certain geographies, lenovo does not even give you the option to configure your own models online.

I would recommend you to go ahead with the antenna upgrade ($30) and then getting the WWAN module separately ( here). Installing it shouldn't take too long.

I've planned to do the same thing as well! good luck!
