    X201 vs T420

    What would be the diffrence between these machines as far as weigh? I know the T420 has a 14" screen. I just purchased an x201 and can still return it

    x201 is more portable so it really depends on what you want to do. If you have no problem carrying a 14'' then t420 is a great choice.

    About 2 pounds difference in weight if you had the 6 cells in x201.

    I did not realize the weight difference, my only beef with the x201 is the screen size do you think the 14 inch is that significant? I really like the low weight factor.

    Maybe I should wait for a 410S, but thats a more expensive machine..

    Dont know what to do

    Well that is hard to say, because everyone is different, it maybe significant if you have never used a 12.1 inch laptop before. If the X201 is your only laptop, and you are more comfortable with the 14 or 15 inch form factors, then 14->12 inch change can be significant.

    Personally, i find the 13.3 inch WXGA+ on the X301 to be the best... If i don't have a X301, then the T4x0s would be my daily workhorse... i usually take my X200 out when i have lot of stuffs with me in the laptop bag.
