Is there any update on when X201 tablet with the Sandy Bridge CPU is going to be on the market?

Also, if anyone has the upcoming spec of X201/SB, is Lenovo going to offer Intel integrated graphics in this new tablet? I don't need/want a power hog in the form of the dedicated graphics card. I am flexible on everything else but these 2 requirements above.

    Thanks for the info.

The SB replacement of the X201 is the X220 with a slightly larger 12.5in screen.

    Thanks for the info.
I've searched for X220t and found this in another thread:

Announcement date for X220t is set to March 22 with shipping on April 19. The pictures of the tablet are already googleable. Screen resolution is an open question yet.

Will be interesting to see how this new tablet compares to newer HP Elitebook 2740p when it gets updated with SB.

Both tablets, X201t/X220t and HP 2740p have their strong points:

I am still undecided as to which one I'd go with. If HP stays on 16:10 resolution with SB then some folks may switch to HP. 16:10 definitely looks more natural. Although, that horrible white/silver ex-Compaq style is really hard to stomach.

it seems that Lenovo have a hard time keeping information confidential within the HQ... everything seems to be leaked to the public.

roadmaps are provided to various corporate customers for their own planning.   it's impossible to keep all of them in check.

besides, what's shown here isn't confidential.   unannounced product details, however, are.

I wouldnt call announcement and release schedule something super confidential, given that it was leaked like week or two before T/W/L update?
We didnt get neither specs nor prices ahead of official announcment.
    Glad X220 coming soon.

Most of these information won't really do material damage to Lenovo, since people whom will buy a thinkpad will buy it and those who won't, probably don't care what information you release.

It would be nice if someone from nb51.com releases some X1 information to satisfy our curiosity.

Alrighty, today Lenovo will either launch X220 with good specs (resolution?) or drop the ball.

HP still hasn't announced an SB update for its EliteBook 2740p tablet either.

Does anyone know if tablet resolution in X series is same as in a regular X laptop with the same number?

So is there a normal time of day that announcements like this tend to come out?

Perhaps the announcement is going to take place at CeBIT 2011 expo in Hannover which opens up today? If this is correct, expect reports from CeBIT to get into press by late afternoon.

EDIT: So, no announcement from Lenovo... They are probably paying the price for switching to 16:9 and working out all the kinks. Come on, Lenovo! The market won't wait too long. Time to roll out X in the next few days.

The rumor mill has it that HP is prepping to announce an SB update of their tablet some time in March. The bad news is that it looks like HP has also fallen into that 16 by 9 pit.
