Believe it or not, I ended up with two free laptop skin coupons - one from schtickers.com and another from skinit.com. And no, I have two laptops so I'll use them both :)

Of course, neither company has my two machines listed:
    1. Lenovo X201t
    2. Lenovo T60p w/ 15.4" widescreen

Skinit only has a template for a X61t. Will this work on an X201t? Obviously customer support at skinit had no clue and I can't tell. If not, do you know what dimensions to order? I don't care about covering up blinking lights, but I don't want to interfere with the hinges.

And a bonus question for the T60p, what's the right dimension to order?

    Thanks!

x61t and x201t are of different size so it won't work.

Wait, you're going to deface a ThinkPad black lid with a glorified bumper sticker :(

Don't do it, even if it is free!

    "Woody"... I ROFL'ed. :D

But IMO I like the ThinkPad exterior (lid + sides)... but... keyboard and the screen could use a facelift tho ;)

Indeed nice. How thick is the skin? I would assume it gives an additional protection.

Probably a little bit. Mine has since acquired a small scratch.

Does look nice indeed. I chose my apartment for the hardwood floors, and I like that bamboo laptop, but hard to pass up a thinkpad :)

Unfortunately no stores seem to have skins pre-cut for the X201t. Oh well.

You'll need to cut it yourself. Perhaps because it's the only Lenovo I've tried to skin, but IMO it looks even worse when you do (the "woody" being no exception once again IMO).

Wow, I think walnut oak was a hot kitchen cabinet color in the late seventies early eighties. 10 points for uniqueness though.

SGP have brought it back in a big way.

They also have Lenovo skins, which I believe is where Zaz went to to cover his carbunc... I mean, work of art.

I'd ideally like something less oppressive than the machine is already.

I guess I can turn to Barry's Farm and get them to make some sort of slip-on / velcro-on cover or something.

It's certainly not going to make a Lenovo look any worse...
