    Hi,

My new X220 arrived two days ago and my 128GB MyDigitalSSD mSATA SSD arrived today. I am trying to transfer the operating system from the HDD to the mSATA SSD.

    I did the following:

    - Installed the mSATA SSD
    - Initialised it (MBR)
    - Gave it a letter ( D: )
    - Created factory recovery disks (to USB HDD)
    - Removed the HDD
    - Plugged-in the USB HDD
    - Booted my computer
    - Selected the USB HDD to boot from
    - Got a Windows Boot Manager error: "Windows failed to start", File: \Boot\BCD, Status: 0x0000001, Info: An error occurred while attempting to read the boot configuration data

I am using the default BIOS configuration.

What am I doing wrong? Help!
