    Hey All,

I have a new x220 with a 9 cell battery. The battery is a bit loose when jiggled. It fits correctly and sits without any movement when on a flat surface, but when it is held freely, the battery has a little bit of movement. Anyone else?

    cheers,

    gg

Every ThinkPad I've owned has had a bit of wiggle.

that is usual for ThinkPads, i would suggest you put a piece of folded paper in the battery compartment this way the thing won't jiggle around.

Are you sure both battery locks are engaged? I had serious wiggle on one side until I noticed there were two locks. Now there's a still a bit, but it's negligible.

Paper trick worked, thanks! And I did double check the locks. My ole G2S was a snug fit so I figured I would check. Thanks again, *solved*. :D
