    X220 Expresscard smartcard reader stuck, how to remove?

    Hello all,

    I stuck a 54mm smartcard reader into the express card slot, now I can't seem to get it back out. I tried pushing it in, but it doesn't spring out or anything. Is there a trick to getting things out of the expresscard slot?

    I looked at the hardware maint pdf, but that just describes how to disassemble it.

    Pushing it in is the way it's supposed to work. The spring on mine is quite stiff, so it needs a firm push.
