    Any ideas as per subject mentioned above? The screen is really bright compare with my X201 but if any software can detect the type if it is premium or not would be great. Thanks

    just tilt the screen back and forth and look at it at different angles.

    If the colors, etc. stay the same, then it is the IPS display.

    It'll be obvious

    Download Hwinfo32. Monitor should be LP125WH2-SLB1.

    Thanks guys! I am worried that the repair center did something. After those SSD nightmares finally I got mine perfectly running and only waiting for the WWAN cables to be replaced by the repair center
