Anyone know if/when this is going to happen?
I've been looking to get an x220 for a while and with IB coming out, I figure now's the time. Or is there a new model coming out that I should be waiting for instead?

Refreshes are rumored to be coming in June/July.

If history is a guide, they'll do the T and W series first, then the X series will come a couple months later. I'd say if you want an ultraportable, the X220 is still a great option.

What makes you guys think the220 is getting updated to IB? I assumed it would be dropped from the site with the 230, like the 120 was when the 130 came out. Different computer. Keyboard is iffy til someone tests it.

They are talking about the x230. The x220 with IB = x230. I believe some people whether knowingly or unknowingly are referring to it as the x220.

Hmm I've waited long enough, I can wait a bit longer for IB in the ultraportable. After all, I have a standard 15.6 workbench already.

I wasn't sure myself with if it'd be x220/230 myself though I see why it's like that.
So is a June/July estimate still accurate or should I expect for it to be more in 4th quarter?

Also: The model shouldn't change too much right? Like in terms of build quality/battery life/etc. which are the main reasons why x220 is so lucrative.
