I set up a new power profile in the Thinkvantage Power Manager (mainly to prevent the machine from sleeping while using Skype) but it is not behaving as expected. I have it set for "Sleep when lid is closed: Never" but as soon as the lid is closed, it goes to sleep and wifi is disrupted. When I check back on the same profile, it has reverted to "Sleep when lid is closed: sleep". I can't keep it on 'never.'
Also, I have it set on "require password on standby resume:No" but after the display goes off after my 5 minute set time (lid staying open), it is requiring my password to resume.
What gives? Anyone else having problems?
