    Hi,

I updated my X220 which was running windows 7 to windows 10 a few weeks back and I've been having constant boot issues since then.

By boot issues I mean that windows 10 spinning circle slows to an absolute crawl and then doesn't boot into windows.

Powering the system off and on again boots straight into windows 10 very quickly.

I'm thinking there must be windows 10 issue causing this as powering off the system when it displays this behaviour and restarting it resolves the issue.

Has anyone got any pointers on resolving this issue?

    Thanks

Revert back to Windows 7 Professional. Go back to what worked on your machine.

Are you running off of an upgrade? Or is this a clean/full install of Windows 10? (The latter might clear this boot issue up.)

Agree here. Clean install of Windows 10 is best (and really applies to all OS installs)
