    Hello,
I received my x220 last week and according to my thinkvantage box my warranty expires next year, but I paid for the 3 yr on site TPP. (total protection plan) even on their website when I enter my serial number it just states 1 year....I will call tech support, but has anyone else noticed this problem? I also never got my office product key or discs, (another thread) which they say was a mistake and sales told me I should have it in a week...

Whoops...I have a typo in the thread name "extended"

I had a similar problem, my attempts at registering the extended warranty online were painful and inconclusive. Techsupport gave me an email address to send the warranty upgrade details to (it was the same email address that is noted in the email I received from Lenovo a few days before I received my x220 and concerning the process of warranty registration).

They got back to me within 2-3 days and now the extended warranty is recognised on the ThinkVantage Warranty checker application thingy.

    Petrov.

Given a few weeks. The database can be a little slow. If it hasn't updated in a few weeks, you can always give them a call and straighten it out.

Lenovo should put a big advisory at time of sale that any extended warranties take a couple of weeks if not longer to show up. This question is asked many times by customers and its an easy fix to advise.
