I am located in Southern California. Does anyone know where they would have an X220 on display in So. Cal? Thanks.

ThinkPads are going to be hard to find in alot of retail stores as your average joe schmoe sees the price and has a heart attack. Retail stores mostly sell consumer grade notebooks, as most businesses order through a supplier or directly from Lenovo. Micro Center (where I work) has some, but mine does not have the x220 so I doubt any California stores have any.

There's no need to be sorry. I was just curious.

They had a x220i at Central Computers in San Mateo a week or two ago. I know they have a few locations on the Peninsula, but that's where I saw it. Price was in the $750-800 range too (IIRC), so not bad at all.

Been to Fry's but they only got the T410. I will look at local university. There used to be some x201t in the Microsoft Store but haven't seen thinkpad x series here. :(
