Unfortunately the cheapest model is $1750. And none of the IPS models seem to be in stock. -
Wow, the tablet too!
Any tablet models with IPS in stock? -
All tablet have IPS panel, the multi-touch is the glossy screen, while the outdoor is the more anti-glare screen.
-
Outdoor = gorilla glass, right?
Which screen (multi-touch or gorilla glass), if either, would have less "grain"? I'm interested in one for photo editing using the stylus, and although I'd like to have the multi-touch option as an extra, I think I would sacrifice the touch if it means getting better image quality by going with the gorilla glass option, even though glossy screens don't bother me and I don't intend on using it outdoors. -
I am not sure about the graininess since I don't have either tablet with me. Yes the outdoor is the gorilla glass

How do the extended warranties work? I noticed it comes with a 3yr warranty, but it looks like I can add a 3yr Lenovo ThinkPlus Priority Support with ThinkPad Protection for $130? or 4yr for $196? Seems too cheap for the 4 year
-
The 4 year plan mean that you have to sent the laptop to Lenovo by mail, just like the base warranty. Lenovo sell their warranty cheap for the standard depot option.

Is any model come with both mSATA SSD and regular Harddrive? Can we configure it to be that to purchase from Lenovo directly?
-
I haven't see that option for any of their laptop, I am pretty sure you can upgrade it yourself.

I'm also looking at some of the higher priced versions of X220T. Some of them ship with 160GB SSD drives. If my guess is correct these are Intel 320 series drives:
Lenovo ThinkPad X220 Tablet 4296 (429635U) - Laptops / Notebooks -
But to get it at a minimum price of $1750, the Samsung NP900X3A at $1600 is a better deal. -
-
Somehow though I doubt that those will be the final prices (at least at most retailers). All the review configurations were priced at $1,299 and included the pricey slice battery in addition to the IPS screen. Those are probably the inflated price schemes that Lenovo loves to use in order to advertise that the actual prices are "50% off". -
First, I swear to god, deciphering Lenovo's model numbers and trying to figure out what is included was more challenging than helping my son with his homework simplifying quaderadic equations! (That's after 28 years of not doing algebra!)
I've been attempting to figure out the differences between the models on CostCentral.com site and with the help of someone who posted Lenovo's product information document ( vinuneuro9 who posted it here), on page 168, the 160 GB SSD is referenced as Intel's X25-M model. So, the older SSD. For the price of the upgrade, it will be cheaper to purchase the 320 model on newegg.
Hope this helps. -

It is there to help you; please make use of it.
Second, I don't believe you. Simplify: 3x^2 + 4x - 11
Third, let me google that for you..
