I love the WUXGA screen in my Toughbook 52. I thought I could not stand it but you get used to the high resolution pretty quickly. On the contrary I thought the 1080p Vaio Z was a little too much. (loved it anyway!)

1440x900 on a 12in is nice...1600x900 on a 12.5 will be about as nice. If only they offered a 1680x1050 on my x200 I think it would be perfect for working at this size.

Is April 19 the date that the X220 is suppose to be available? -
Yea that's the date.
-
well at least there's a date. I was set to order a T420, but mainly because it supported 1600x900. If the x220 really supports HD+, I'd prob get that instead. I wish they would confirm or deny it so I dont have to wait a month for nothing.
-
Unfortunately, no IPS. -
-
oh, would you mind pointing me to where it was confirmed that the X220 wont have HD+?

Look for erik's post on the last page. He's our insider.
-
I don't know, he didn't really word it suggesting he had insider information this time, but more like he wouldn't expect it.
-
-
you people know more about this stuff than i do. i'm simply trying to keep expectations realistic.
-
That's a good point, if Lenovo would really be offering a HD+ panel, why wouldn't they advertise this?
-
...
(You hear that? He doesn't know. GET EXCITED EVERYONE
(LOL) -
Can a mod please change the title of this thread? Every time I come to this subforum I get excited when this thread has new posts...

as the saying goes, "don't believe everything you read on the internet."
