Hi, a friend of mine who lives in another country wants me to buy a X220 for him. I'm trying to figure out how much shipping would cost right now and need to know the shipping weight and size of the X220 package.

Does anyone know the dimension of the X220's package and how much the shipping weight is? Thanks :)

Considering that the W520 + charger is about 7.5lb and it shipped as a 10lb package, I'm guessing the X220 is going to be about 7.5lb for shipping.

Mine just came yesterday. X220 with 9-cell battery is marked at 2.7 KG on the UPS label. The box measures 15" x 12.5" x 4.5".

Sorry for the mixed units, but the tape measure I had handy only has inches on it.
