    Hi, I have the opportunity to buy 3 x220 for 1500, 8gb ram i5 2520 non ips screen 128ssd, webcam, fingprint reader, is this a good deal? My understanding is that intel will be releasing their third generation i processors at the end of this month so I'm a bit hesitant to buy....

    $1500 for 3?!

    What do you plan on doing with your computer? If you're not doing anything intensive, then the current SB is fine.

    just school work, yes 1500 for three, the guy wanted 600 each but I talked him down to 1500 for 3.

    I mean you could easily resell those just for the purpose of pure profit, it's a good deal. And as stated above, if you have basic needs, SB will be overkill. IB is going to be godsend for notebook users as it is the first implementation of Intel's tri-gate transistors, drastically reducing power draw and idle power.
