Well, im about to purchase a new x220 from lenovo website. But my friend told me that his x220 was kind of having "ghosting" (like blur, ghost while watching fast moving image...) and burn in image (like after display a picture for a long time)... I dont know if that an officialy issue of the X220 or not, but if its true, was it fixed? If im purchasing my new X220 at this moment, shall I got th same problem?

Sorry for my poor English. And thanks in advance for any reply :)

I bought my X220 tablet last month, haven't noticed it, as it's been stated, all the new panels should be fixed.

I got a new replacement with IPS. It has very little bleeding (only when the screen is black, like when booting), which hasn't bothered me at all, and no noticeable ghosting (I do game a bit on X220).

    Ghosting/bleeding is an old/resolved issue, I believe.

The issue was resolved with new screens some time during the summer of 2011. If you order direct from Lenovo right now, there should be no screen issues; however, there is a chance that if you order from the Lenovo Outlet or some third-party resellers, they may still have older (affected) stock.

I think you can make a pretty good argument the ghosting issue was much ado about nothing. I ordered the first day and I've never seen it. I think it's one of those things that unless you go looking for it, you'll probably never see it.

But... but... This never would have happened when IBM made ThinkPads!

As I posted in a different thread, I have a machine that was built after the new screens were stocked and I just started having ghosting effects on my screen. It's incredibly obvious when I open a movie/video because I can see the remnants of the window that was previously open, and I first noticed it on the shut down screen with a dark background.

The only thing that's changed between when the screen did and did not ghost is I'm running windows 8 on my laptop, and I don't see a way that could've affected this.
