I've read in numerous reviews that the X230 is thinner than the X220. But in the pictures I've seen them compared to each other (primarily to highlight the keyboard) I can't see a difference. Are they the same thickness? If one is thinner, is it noticeably thinner? Does anyone know the exact amount?

I've heard the weights are the same. Can anyone confirm this?

    Thank you.

The reviews are inaccurate, likely due to the differences in thickness that the 4- and 6/9-cell batteries add. My brother's X230 with the 9-cell is exactly the same size as my dad's X220 with the 9-cell. The weights are the same, or at least imperceptibly different.
