Hey guys, just wondering how long it takes your x220 to wake up from sleep.

I have the Intel 310 mSATA 80gb installed as my boot drive (only drive currently) and it takes the laptop ~6-7 seconds to wake up and show the login screen after I open the lid.

Previously before I had to reinstall Windows, it would take 2 sec max after I opened the lid to show the login screen. Does anyone know what I can do to speed things up?

I have windows installed on UEFI only, with intel Rapidboot.

    Mine takes about 1-2 seconds to wake up, it's a X220T with a 128GB Crucial M4.

You might want to take a look at which programs yours loads at startup/wakeup (msconfig) or take a look at the eventviewer (diagnostic-performance) to see if any application is slowing startup/resume proces down.

My T420 with the 80 gb intel msata (+ original 500 gb drive) takes 6-7 seconds as well.

W520 with Scorpio Black at 1-2 seconds here.

Maybe it's an mSATA only issue?

I wonder if it's slow b/c it's the mSATA drive? Anyone using a 2.5" SSD w/ slow wakeup from sleep?

Yes, my intel 320 takes 6-7 seconds sometimes. Other times just 1-2.

    It's really strange.

    Hmmm... no one knows?

Now I can't brag that my Thinkpad wakes up as fast as a Macbook Air :(
