This static read-only archive was pulled by NBR forum users between January 20 and January 31, 2022, in an effort to make sure that the valuable technical information that had been posted on the forums is preserved.     X220: Wants to boot from network suddenly + Bitlocker recovery

    I've just restarted my X220 and was astonished to see that it wanted to boot from network before booting from the HDD. I haven't changed anything in BIOS, I just restarted Windows. On top of that Bitlocker required a recovery key, implying that there was some change to the BIOS.

    Does someone have any clue what might have caused this? My AV software did not notice anything, but this behaviour worries me.
