    Hi,

I'm getting my X220 soon, and I opted for Win 7 Home to save money. I already have an Enterprise license from work, which I would like to use and I'm pretty sure the key is not eligible for AnyTime Upgrade, so I can't just key it in.

So I want to do a clean install, but I read on the forums that battery life suffers. Somehow Lenovo tweaks the pre-installed OS (someone mentioned wifi tweaks in the registry). Does someone know which of the software and drivers in the following page should be installed for the best battery life?

    Drivers and software - ThinkPad X220, X220 Tablet, X220i, X220i Tablet

I want to keep the machine as bloat-free and stock Windows as possible. What about any tweaks and hacks that Lenovo does? Is this a mystery?

    My system:
    i5-2520M
320GB HD (will add the Intel 310 SSD)
    6205 Wifi
