Hey All,
I have recently bought a x220T with i5 2520m processor, so far loving this baby, my question is about the sata 3 ssds.
I managed to replace my main hd with a Corsair Force 3 60GB sata 3 drive. After doing some benchmarks using Crystal Disk Mark , I have realized the drive may not be working at sata 3 speeds, wanted to check If anyone has any thoughts in this matter? Attached a screenshot with my results, I`m guessing I need to install a driver or something to enable the sata 3 support ?

Drivers don't enable Sata III support although they can help with speed a little. A drive may support Sata III but it may not be able to operate at that speed. Remember if you are getting Consistent runs at near max Sata II speeds then you may have a problem.

If your drive is full or near full, you won't get the same performance. 60GB is pretty small for a Windows OS.

EDIT:
Also I should note that the majority of the speed increase in going from HDD to SSD isn't from large file transfers but small reads and writes. So benchmarks aren't that relevant to real world performance unless you're constantly transferring large files from one fast drive to another.
