I am getting an x220t and cannot decide between the outdoor or multi-touch screen. I know the outdoor does not have muli-touch capabilities but I do not mind just using the pen.

My main concern is how prone the screens are to scratches. I am a medical student primiarily using the tablet feature for note taking. I am concerned over time that the screen will get scratched. Since the outdoor display has gorilla glass, will it hold up better than the multi-touch screen?

I am also not sure about light reflection etc.

    Thank you!

I'm planning on getting a X220T too, so I don't have one, but I've done loads of research.

The Gorilla Glass is more resistant than the Infinity Glass (multitouch screen), but I guess that the Gorilla Glass is so resistant that multitouch won't work on it. Additionally, Gorilla Glass is for outdoor use, hence provides a clearer or rather it has less glare than the Infinity Glass.

For the glare on the Infinity Glass, this sums it up Lenovo X220 Tablet - Infinity Glass Screen Glare - YouTube Apparently, the Infinity Glass is okay if you're outside and under the shade.

Personally, I want multi-touch, but I want the protection of Gorilla Glass, so a screen protector is a possible compromise as evident in Photodon MXH Review on Lenovo X220t Infinity Glass - YouTube

    Hope that helps!

Gorilla glass is used on several candy bar touch screen phones, which means that it can work with multitouch. :p

It is hard to find a preconfigured model with Outdoor screen, in fact I couldn't find anything at the time I was looking for an X220 tablet.
