    Hey guys,

    Ive been struggling with upgrading my X240 for a while. First, i tried to put my X240 HD touchscreen on a new X250 that came with a non-touch HD TN screen and found out the hard way, touch wont work on that motherboard (as i was then also told by a Lenovo service center) so i sold that X250 (image display worked though if anyone is wondering).

    Now i have a FHD Touch screen i scored dirt cheap - its the original FRU 00HN747 - the LP125WF2 SPB2 with the glass Lenovo digitizer layer. I tried putting this panel into my X240 and the picture gets split up into four quadrants, still only displaying 1367x768 in the upper left corder and artifacts on the other three quadrants. Had a problem like this with another laptop where the LCD cable did not have enough lanes.

    Now im not sure if i need a different LCD eDP/LVDS cable? Anyone have an idea?

    I can find these two listed below being sold - both stated for X240 but one is listed as LVDS and other eDP... which one is the one i need and can anyone with experience here say with certainty this is my problem?

    Hi,
    I also tried to upgrade a X240 HD Touch to become a FHD Touch.
    The new display is a FRU 00H M74 5 - LP125WF2 SPB2.

    The picture itself ist perfect. 1080p looks absoultely fine.
    But the touchscreen is not working any more.

    Did you also changed the circuit board glued to the back of the screen? I had to do this because there was no one on my new FHD screen.

    My cable says PN SC10A39904. So it should be the LVDS cable.
