I recently got my X240 in the mail. When I opened it up I immediately noticed something was off. My fingers didn't land on the keys properly, and upon measuring the keyboard, I realized that it is not a full-size keyboard!

    Keyboard comparisons:

    Generic Logitech full-size desktop keyboard:
    A to ; is 17.2cm
number row to spacebar is 7.7cm

    My T420s:
    A to ; is 17.2cm
number row to spacebar is 7.7cm

    My new X240:
    A to ; is 16.6cm
number row to spacebar is 7.2cm

I'm going to try giving it another 24 hours, but after that I may end up sending it back. My question to the readers here: Can someone measure their T440s' keyboard for me? How does it compare to the above measurements? If I return the X240, then I'd consider getting a T440s instead - assuming it has a full-size keyboard and not a shrunken keyboard like the X240.

    Thanks everyone!

The T440s has a full-size keyboard. No need to measure that, you can tell from the pictures that the X240 has a smaller version of the ThinkPad keyboard. :)

I could tell from the pictures that the backspace, enter, and slash keys, etc were smaller (along the right side), but I didn't realize that all the other keys were smaller too.
