I recently bought an X300. It was the last piece in the shop, so I bought the one on display. I saw the box, it's only 2 weeks old and the store isn't very popular, so I doubt it was heavly tried/played with.
Anyway, I had it out of it's case today while driving. It was next to me in the passenger seat. I heard it rattling. I held it, shut it and it shuts; but slightly rattles when I apply pressure. It doesn't quite close as my T60, is this normal? Anyone else that has an X300 would like to share please?

no answers, now i'm worried.

What don't you bring it back then?

the guy at the shop says it's normal, i don't know anyone else that has an x300 i wanted someone that has one to help.

I also have the x300 direct from Lenovo (ordered last week) and it rattles slightly when driving with it in the passenger seat. The one I checked out in a store did the same. I find it negligible compared to the quality of the rest of the machine, and I only hear the rattle when driving over bumps. -
If you mean it doesn't shut tightly like other notebooks, then yes it does "rattle" a little, but it's not a build issue.

I love you both for resting my mind!
Rep to you both!
X300 rattles when shut!
