I was told by a person that own the X300 that although the screen is very nice and bright, the angles are tricky. The moment you move off axis it is terrible.

Anybody know if the T400/T500 use the same screen or a better one?

Considering the x300 has a 13" screen and the t400/t500 have 14"/15" screens, they definitely won't be the same ones.

Wait for reviews of the T400/500.

If you want a good screen, get a FlexView T60. Everything else will be inferior.

Can't you get that screen and put it in the new series (or at least the T61)?

    I don't think so, Isn't the T61 screen off-centered and the T60 is not

The IPS is not widescreen. Over on ThinkPads.com someone put a mobo from a 14" T61 into a 15" T60 case.
