Will the X300 be released with a regular SATA hard disk (not the SSD) anytime soon?

Based on many other posts here and elsewhere asking this question, much speculation, no definitive answer.

As I understood only not so long ago companies started to produce 1.8 inch SATA hard disk. I have observed that IBM/Lenovo (maybe others too) don't sell anything that is not produced in sufficient quantities.

So it is at least possible? I mean, if they could push the price down, wouldn't they?
