This static read-only archive was pulled by NBR forum users between January 20 and January 31, 2022, in an effort to make sure that the valuable technical information that had been posted on the forums is preserved. For current discussions, many NBR forum users moved over to NotebookTalk.net after the shutdown.

    X300: ubuntu updated today and my VGA no longer works well

    it seems it damaged my driver or something, max resolution i can set now is 1152 x 864 no more 1440 x 900

    any idea how can i solve it?

    lspci shows:
    00:02.0 VGA compatible controller: Intel Corporation Mobile GM965/GL960 Integrated Graphics Controller (rev 0c)
