I finally got my X301 and I've been very happy with it. Keyboard, touchpad, footprint and weight are great. The screen isn't great but is still perfectly usable for me.

I've noticed yesterday that is some flex in my unit:

    1) Around the DVD-RAM drive. Applying slight pressure to the bottom of the unit exhibits slight flex.
    2) The lid doesn't sit 100% flush on the unit when closed. Closing the lid, the latch locks, but you can apply pressure to the top.

In the notebookreview X301 review, it mentions their X301 exhibits no flex. Am I being over-critical? Or am I expecting too much based on the reviews?

Would love to hear if any X301 owners have similar experiences...
