    Hey all,

I'm looking to upgrade the RAM on my X301. I was looking at the Lenovo website, and 2 gig DMM of RAM is only $35. Seems pretty reasonable, right? Or should I get it from elsewhere?

    Thanks all!

    I upgraded my X301 RAM using this: Newegg.com - G.SKILL 4GB 204-Pin DDR3 SO-DIMM DDR3 1066 (PC3 8500) Laptop Memory Model F3-8500CL7S-4GBSQ

Planning to add 1 more stick. Lenovo priced their items a little higher than other sellers (might be related to compatibilty/soak test)

You should get it elsewhere, typically a 2GB stick of DDR3 laptop RAM is now only around $15-20. I actually got mine refurbished from the Lenovo Outlet for ~$13 shipped a few weeks ago.
