    Hey everyone..

I have this quite weird (I think) question:

Currently I'm using a White 2.2GHz MacBook with a 120GB (Actual size: 110GB) Harddrive and I take a lot of photos and do some - but not a lot - postediting with iPhoto that lets you do some basic stuff..
My question is how the screen on an X60/61 is with photos?
How are the colors and so on?
What I am going to do on the software side - obviously I can't get my beloved iPhoto and Mac OSX Leopard on a X61.??
The thing with the macbook is the build quality - it keeps breaking, and it literally pisses me off (not meant to offend anyone - I'm just .. Damn you macbook - I love you, but your build quality and weight really crack my nerves..)

My plan is to get the macbook repaired and when I go on my studentexchange to the US on the 10th of August, leave the MacBook behind and buy a X61 in the States..
But I'm worried about the things regarding the screen and software - Windows is just not as userfriendly and intuitive (My humble opinion - I'm not trying to start a Mac vs. Windows war here but get your point of view on the X61 as a Photoviewer and workhorse)
The X61 will be used to do a bit of postprocessing of photos, view a lot of photos, use iTunes almost all the time, scribble notes in class, surfing the web, doing some powerpoints and excel work - office-, music- and photo stuff bascially.. + of course surfing the web a lot..
Also I will be connecting it to an external monitor when at home

    Help me here please

    /Sander

It should be ok. I think the x61s has the better screen (not 100% sure about that, think i read it somewhere). As for software, there are many programs you can use, such as photoshop or paint.net, or GIMP.
