    Hi

I am ordering an X60 tablet but not sure about the ram I need to have. Does this laptop support dual channel mode or not? since the maximum Ram is 3 G, should I order one 1 G and one 2 G RAM or two 2G ? Any real differnece will it make?

On the otherhand, what is the difference between the core duo and core duo 2 CPUs? Will I see a noticible difference in real world application? any comments welcome

It'll take 4GB of RAM which will make it run Dual Channel. But if you opt for 3GB the dual channel won't work but there has been some tests done that show that it really doesn't significantly matter.

    Here's from Lenovo spec sheets
note: It's saying XP will only support 3GB, that should imply usable ram that Windows will be able to use.
