    Hi
This is my first join to any forum, but I felt that I should share my experience with others. For a long time now, I am fan of all Think Pad notebooks since I previously had: T41, T42, T43, X60S and latest X60 Tablet. All of them were unbeatable in performance and reliability ( I am using it only for business) until last one which is X60 Tablet which runs on preloaded Vista. Only thing I installed on top of it is Office 2007.
It is simply worst performance I EVER had on ANY brand notebook. All updates are there both from Microsoft and Lenovo, but it is almost useless notebook and cost a lot-as you can expect for any Think Pad .
    This is nightmare!

    Can you elaborate.
In what ways does it have the worst performance?

Are these Vista issues or specific to the X60 Tablet?

Yes, can you elaborate on the problems you are having?

Also, it would help if you can post the specs of your tablet. 1GB of RAM is just not enough to coax good performance out of Vista. You need at least 2GB.

    This is spec:
    Product: ThinkPad X60 Tablet 6366-K7G
    Original description: L2500(1.83GHz), 1GB RAM, 80GB 5400rpm HD, 12.1in 1024x768 LCD Touchscreen, Intel 950, Intel 802.11abg wireless, Bluetooth/Modem, 1Gb Ethernet, Secure chip, IEEE 1394, Fingerprint reader, 4c Li-Ion batt, WinVista Business.
I have made upgrade to 2GB RAM with original memory.
Bad performace. When I log on, it takes about 10 or more minutes until it becomes usable: there is a CPU and Disk ussage constant and in allmost 100% and it is useless for that time. I visited a lot of forums, did "this and that" "dissallow to index .xml, dissallow this.. try that" but guys, it is not working jet. I have a lot of experience with PC and I had lot of Think Pads, and one thing I can say certainly:this is not finished product! This should be "alpha" stage notebook. Blame it on Vista or on tablet or on?!?!?! Whatever it is same for me as customer.
To be completely honest: I have Think Pad X60S (not tablet) on XP and it is great mechine! Fast, reliable, not a single problem ever.
