I'm considering getting the X60. Up-to-date wireless networking hardware is a big plus. It seems like the customization choices on the Lenovo website may have changed. My question:
Do the two choices for wireless cards support 802.11 n (they don't say so explicitly but somewhere on the Lenovo site I think it said 'n' is supported)? Also, does the Bluetooth hardware support the latest EDR (Enhanced Data Rate)?

Well, official 802.11n is not ratified, so whatever "N" ability is in a draft-N state.
Post the wi-fi card options for the X60 you are customizing, and we can tell you if it supports draft/pre-N.
Most BT radios in today's devices support EDR. To be sure, post the BT option you get on the Lenovo site. -
yes, of course... here's the wi-fi cards:
- Intel PRO/Wireless 3945ABG (US/CAN/LA/AP) [add $5.00]
- ThinkPad 11a/b/g Wi-Fi wireless LAN Mini-PCIe US/EMEA/LA/ANZ
will it make any difference which one of these I get? I'm concerned about "n" support because I believe Lenovo was offering a 3rd option a week ago that said it supports n.
I can't find info on Lenovo.com about what Bluetooth part is used - it just says "with Bluetooth". Some of their tech spec pages are down right now.
