I have been talking with a bunch of tablet folks about their issues with the SXGA screens, as I am having the "horizontal shaking lines" issue on the bottom third of my screen.

After 8-9 hours on the phone with IBM / lenovo and two (3 tomorrow) onsite support calls, I have nothing to show, and instead was given a lesser resolution panel that they tried to pass off as the same as my original panel.

I am now hearing that this is their common business practice, and that many, many SXGA panels in these machines are defective, but that lenovo / IBM is delaying and using deceptive tactics like shipping mislabeled parts to try to fool unwary customers, or just to bully people in general.

So weigh in - have you had an SXGA screen that has worked or not worked? How long have you had your LCD, and what is the ultimate status if you needed repair? Did they try to give you a lesser resolution panel as the warranty replacement?
