    Hi forks,
I am using the X60s, it's been performing quite well. Problem occurs after i bought an 20.1 WXSGA+ 1680x1050 to use as a second monitor. The external widecreen monitor (connected via the VGA) can not display properly when i choose the 1680x1050 resolution for the external LCD monitor.
Anybody know how to solve this problems? Please help.
    Thanks.

Does it work for resolutions lower then 1680x1050 ?
If so, try upgrading your driver to the lastest.
This was in the spec sheet.
Also try switching to the main display I hope it works this way.

    Hi mujtaba,
    Thanks for your reply.
I tried the LCD with the 1440x900 and it worked but the displayed image was not clear since 1440x900 is not the native resolution of the LCD monitor. When i switched to 1680x1050, the image was displayed on only half of the LCD screen.
So far, 2 things can be the problem maker:
1 - Graphic card itself: but from the graphic accelerator 950, it seem okay with the 1680x1050
2 - Lenovo X60 configuration (BIOS,etc.) can not support the wide screen. (it's possible cause the image was shrinked and couldn't expand to the wide scale). I tried the LCD with the other widescreen laptop from TOSHIBA and it works well in 1680x1050 resolution.
I just guess and dun know how to solve the problem. I spent days to update my system to the lastest versions but no hope.
If you have any ideas, please advise me.

    Hi paqtrick22,
I tried 2 cases, both screens together and 20.1 LCD only. The 20.1 did not work in any cases.
