This static read-only archive was pulled by NBR forum users between January 20 and January 31, 2022, in an effort to make sure that the valuable technical information that had been posted on the forums is preserved. For current discussions, many NBR forum users moved over to NotebookTalk.net after the shutdown.

    X60s with external widescreen?

    I searched the forums but I could not see a definitive answer on this.

    My boss has authorized me to get a 22" widescreen (1680x1050) for an external display. I have upgraded my BIOS and video drivers to the latest versions. Will I be able to use this style of monitor or not? I see conflicting posts on this.

    Anyone?

    I see an option for 1440x900 resolution but nothing higher in a widescreen aspect ratio.
