    When I configure an X60s on the Lenovo Canadian site it is much more than if I do the same laptop on the American site...

    I factored in the currency difference but it i still around $700 more on the Canadian site?

    Yes most laptops cost more in Canada (and europe for that matter).

    You might do better purchasing from a reseller instead of from the website. If you are in the toronto area, there are a couple of notebook stores in Pacific Mall (chinese mall) which are competitive... be prepared to bargain.
    They will definitely undercut the website prices significantly (if u can bargain).
