    Hello all,
I found error on my new X61 (7676-A24), i bought it about 2 weeks ago.
    It's very annoying. :(

I have downgraded to Windows XP SP2 and install all drivers from Lenovo.com.
This error page fault suddenly occurs and then restart itself.
There's a code like 0x000000 bla bla bla.... (The Background color is black, and the Text color is white or blue, i forgot that)

After it restarts and log on to windows. A dialog box appears.
    Please look below :

What happens after you close all those windows? Does it remain like that? If it does, could you ctr+alt+del -->task manager, go to file, new task, type explorer. In explorer go to C:\Windows\minidump or C:\Windows and look for a dump file. Upload here and I will have a look to see what is wrong.

I just checked, all dumps point to the same error:

This file shows a problem with Kerio Personal firewall (fwdrv.sys) or malware. Some malware camouflage themselves as fwdrv.sys, particularly if they are located in c:\windows or c:\windows\system32 folder. Thus check the fwdrv.sys process on your pc whether it is pest.
File fwdrv.sys is located in the folder C:\Windows\System32\drivers. The file size on Windows XP is 286720 bytes.

    Hello Wishmaker,
thanks for your time checking the file...

So what about the second and the third?
    How to do that?

Btw, i use Tiny Personal Firewall.
But my PC has used this about 2 years and it never had a problem like on my new Thinkpad X61. I have to use firewall for network security. So how's the solution? Thanks for quick reply.

I just edited my previous post. Both kerio and tiny have the same problem!!! Will let you know asap!

Okay: Please look for the path of that file. Let's see if it is spyware or not. Maybe you were unlucky with the X61 and caught something someplace.

    Hello Wishmaker...
    Yes, i found fwdrv.sys in C:\Windows\System32\drivers

Wow! So it's the problem not my new X61. Thanks Wishmaker!
I have to change my firewall, any advice?
    I need light firewall.

It is a software error not hardware. It does not seem to be spyware if it is in drivers. Have you done a recent update? Something must have happened to trigger this software error. Just to confirm that, I will advise a fresh OS install. A few tests and then we will add a firewall ;). This thread might give you some insight.
