Hi Everybody! It's my first post here.

I own a TP X61 for a year and almost everyday I connect it to an external LCD display.
Yesterday it suddenly failed to connect. The LCD says no signal coming in.
I try to connect other laptop to the LCD display and it works. Looks like the display works fine and it's the problem of X61.
Is it a common problem that the VGA port fail to work?

I am new to laptop so I am not quite familiar with the warranty service. Is it like I send my laptop to Lenovo and they repair it and mail it back to me? How long does it take usually?

    Thank You for any helps.
