On the Canadian web site it lists the screen for the X61 Tablet model 7767A4U (the Top Seller model) as "12.1 WVA SXGA+ TFT MultiV 1024x768" which is a contradiction. It is either SXGA+ (1400x1050) or XGA (1024x768). I called the Lenovo Canada order status hotline (zero hold time!) and the person who answered couldn't tell me which it was. She's escalating it up to the web team and will email me tomorrow with the answer.

I really hope it's the SXGA+ because I was probably the first person in Canada to place an order for the X61 Tablet and I don't want to lose my priority!

She also said the preliminary estimate for the time before they start shipping is 4 weeks. Next week they'll have a better estimate (hopefully it will be sooner not later).

Judging from that the US website says about an option that appears to be the same, the screen should be SXGA+. While I'm at it, I have a question for you: Does that model have integrated Bluetooth installed?

I need to call them again to confirm this but I don't think this model has bluetooth, WWAN, fingerprint reader or the turbo memory. All of these things (except the fingerprint reader?) can be easily added later using a PCI-e card if i'm not mistaken.

The Canadian Lenovo site seems unfinished at the moment. There are several X61 Tablet models that seem to have nearly identical stats but they are priced up to $800 apart.

    Thanks ibmfan.

The page also states the system has both bluetooth and a fingerprint reader (no turbo memory though).
